MEASURpoint

MEASURpoint™ is an ultra-accurate instrument that allows any combination of temperature and voltage to be measured with a single software solution. Up to 48 configurable channels allow the ultimate flexibility with voltage, thermocouple, and RTD inputs. MEASURpoint incorporates ISO-Channel™ technology to eliminate any common mode noise and ground loop problem in any environmental conditions.

  • Dedicated 24-bit, Delta Sigma A/D converter per channel operating in parallel
  • Configure up to 48 channels in groups of 8 channels per board
  • ISO-Channel™ protection eliminates noise and ground loops
  • 1000V galvanic isolation channel to channel and to the host computer to protect signal integrity
  • DC/DC converter per channel maximizes isolation
  • 10Hz throughput rate on each channel simultaneously or 480Hz for 48 channels
  • Ethernet (LXI Class C compliant) or USB operation
  • Compact, rugged 2U half rack enclosure (3.5" H x 8.25" W x 8.25" L)
  • Dedicated CJC (cold junction compensation) for each thermocouple channel
  • B, E, J, K, N, R, S, and T type thermocouples supported
  • Dedicated reference current source for each RTD channel
  • Platinum RTD types supported: Pt100, Pt500, Pt1000
  • 3 software selectable input ranges on voltage boards: ±10V, ±100V, ±400V
  • Includes ready-to-measure Measurement Application

TEMPpoint Application Measurement Application
The Measurement Application is a ready-to-measure software package and is included with each TEMPpoint, VOLTpoint, and MEASURpoint instrument. The Measurement Application allows you to configure your instrument, acquire measurements from up to 48 channels, display the data in both numerical and chart displays, and log the data to disk. The Measurement Application was developed using Measure Foundry®, making it easy to customize the application to suit your needs using the available project file. Evalute the Measurement Application today – simply download the software application and select one of four simulation modes.

DAQ Adaptor for MATLAB MATLAB Instrument Control Toolbox
Using the MATLAB Instrument Control Toolbox, you can access the functions of Data Translation's measurement instruments (TEMPpoint, VOLTpoint, and MEASURpoint). The Instrument Control Toolbox communicates with DT measurement instruments through a MATLAB driver to the instruments IVI-COM driver. Both USB and Ethernet (LXI) versions of the measurement instruments are supported.
